Discovery Retreat is offered by the Educational Resource Center on Deafness at Texas School for the Deaf. This program is a weekend retreat model for deaf and hard of hearing teens designed to provide opportunities for exploring self-identity and career options through adventure learning activities with adult role models.

The retreat mainly targets students from mainstream educational programs who have not had ample opportunities to meet deaf peers or adult role models in their own communities.
