Greetings Stakeholders!
I am excited to announce the new DHHS Director, Bryant Robinson! Bryant officially began his new role on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 and has hit the ground running. Bryant has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Studies with a minor in Deaf Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
He is a seasoned member of the DHH leadership team as the previous Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program (STAP) manager and has served in a variety of capacities at the legacy Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Texas Workforce Commission, the Health and Human Services Commission, as well as the non-profit sector. This broad experience, along with his vast knowledge of the programs within Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, is critical as DHHS continues to collaborate and serve individuals throughout Texas.
Over the next few months, Bryant will be meeting with stakeholders across the state to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out to him if you need anything or just want to say congratulations.
