Special Message Move Forward

We would like to make our brief announcement; however, we’re thinking about you always make us smile. Surely, we want the reason for our retirement because we have our health issues. We would like to slow down ourselves from our duties and responsibilities for DSDFWM.

William Eckstein has turned his duties to Debbie Sisley who will take care of submitting Senior Citizens Program invoices (SCP invoices) for DSDFWM’s revenue. Debbie will continue to take care of announcements and flyers.

Teresa Eckstein has rolled over her duties and responsibilities of coordinating Community Workshops to Kimberly Watts. Kimberly will continue with plans for Thanksgiving potluck, Nineth Annual Christmas Festive, and some other events.

We have had some experiences that some folks volunteered to maintain DSDFWM activities, such as field trips, arts and crafts, games socials and few more. We are much grateful to the volunteers who took care of them in the past. Yet, DSDFWM really needs someone as a newsletter editor and a leader or manager who will keep DSDFWM running smoothly throughout years.

Above all else, any message of care and concern needs to be genuine from our hearts. We must have people with a growth mindset in DSDFWM.

Utmost importantly, we are not going back but let us move FORWARD on the growth of DSDFWM. DON’T STOP THINIKING ABOUT TOMORROW (future). Please consider those matters and discuss on them at the DSDFWM Community Council Saturday, September 14th from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Your support and care will be greatly appreciated. Please attend the Council meeting.

Sincerely.

William and Teresa Eckstein

MISSION: DSDFWM is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life as we all age. We lead positive and social change and deliver values to members through information, education, and advocacy.
