HHSC Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) seeks artists who are deaf or hard of hearing to participate in a visual arts show to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month.
What: 2025 Deaf Awareness Month Reception and Art Show
Who: Artists who are deaf or hard of hearing
When: Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Winters Building, 701 W. 51st St., Austin, Texas 78751. The art show will be in public hearing room 125.

The theme of the art show is “Expressions via Visual Arts – Where Silence Speaks in Color, Form, and Movement”. The show will feature a curated array of art pieces highlighting the creativity and perspectives of artists who are d. It will serve as a platform for expression, community connection, and public education.
DHHS will invite selected artists to a virtual orientation on Thursday, September 4 to prepare for the event.
