Char Parsley, who is a Deaf lady, signs ASL strongly, Gallaudet University alumnus, and well-known leader of the Deaf community in America for so many years. She will talk about the invaluable Deaf Seniors of America (DSA). She claims that the Deaf Seniors is a vibrant community of Deaf and hard of hearing seniors who refuse to let age dim their spark. DSA members are passionate about: Representation: Deaf Seniors are your champion, advocating for issues that matter most to you.

From healthcare to housing, they fight for your rights.

Networking: DSA biennial conferences are legendary, offering unforgettable moments with new and old friends.

Resources: DSA resources listing offers housing/living options, specialized services, local clubs and gatherings, with more to come.

DSA members believe that life is an adventure, even in their golden years. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of aging, seeking guidance, or simply yearning for a good laugh with friends who “get it,’ you’re here to welcome you with open arms.
