This Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Festival will host Deaf Awareness Day, featuring a full day of engaging, visually rich entertainment with select performances interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL) by Hired Hands, Inc.
This special day is designed to ensure accessibility, connection, and shared enjoyment for Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests, their families, and the broader community.
This lively, immersive 16th-century village features 20+ stages of live entertainment, full-contact jousting, artisan shopping, themed food and drink, and more than 200 costumed performers bringing the era to life. April 25th also happens to be Celtic Weekend where Celtic song, dance and culture take center stage.

Event: Hired Hands, Inc. will once again be sponsoring Deaf Awareness Day at Scarborough Festival. We are building a team of community interpreters and students in training to help make the festival as accessible as possible.
Location: Scarborough Renaissance Festival is located at 2511 FM 66 Waxahachie, Texas 75167. Scarborough Renaissance Festival is just 30 minutes south of the downtowns of Dallas & Fort Worth, one mile west of I-35E south at the exit for FM 66 near historic downtown Waxahachie.
