Crepe Crazy at Bat Fest

DATE: Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 2008

TIME: Saturday - 2 pm to 1 am and Sunday - 2 pm to10 pm

CITY: Downtown in Austin, Texas

It is with pleasure to announce that our business, Crepe Crazy will
be selling fresh and healthy crepes including savory crepes filled
such as chicken, ham, and bacon, sausages with sauces of your choice
and sweet crepes filled with an assortment of fruit and sweet sauces,
and ice cream. We will also be selling refreshing iced tea during the
festival for two days. Our Crepe Crazy booth can be easily seen at
Batfest.

The Bat Fest is a great celebration of one of Austin’s greatest
events. This is the 4th Annual Bat Fest beginning Saturday, August 30
from 2pm until midnight and Sunday the 31 from 2pm to 10pm. This
festival will feature Arts, Crafts, Live Music, Food, Bat Watching,
Children’s Activities, Bat Costume contests, and Educational Displays.

The Estimated attendance at Batfest alone is around 40,000+ there
will be approximately 150 Booths set up in the Festival Area which
will be located on FIRST STREET BRIDGE. Batfest has been moved to the
FIRST STREET BRIDGE. It was originally scheduled for the Congress
Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin. The entrance fee for this exciting
and unique Batfest is $5.00. You and your kids will find a wealth of
fun at this event, including carnival rides, games, interactive
exhibits, face painting, and more. Let’s entertain your taste buds
while rooting with our savory and sweet crepes, so be sure to stop by
our Crepe Crazy booth.

We believe every bite of our crepes will make you truly happy and
satisfied. Hope you come and enjoy yourself at the BAT FEST!

    The bats did come out, but unfortunately the location was advertised poorly. The bats live under the neighboring bridge on Congress Avenue. They emerged and flew away from the 1st Avenue Bridge, so any Batfest revelers would have missed it unless they walked down the river.
