Video Remote Interpreting at SSA office – Austin

Greetings,

I am writing to notify you of an exciting new service available in our
office. In an effort to better serve the deaf and hard of hearing
population in the greater Austin area, we are now able to provide an
interpreter whenever necessary for interviews in our office using video
remote services. Appointments for initial claims are available every day
of the week and can be made by contacting our national toll free line at
1-800-772-1213 or using TTY at 1-800-325-0778.

Additionally, the video remote interpreters are available on a walk in basis
every day of the week for any other service needs. Our office is open
Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

Please help us spread the word to the community via email or in person
contact that they can receive services from us any day of the week now
thanks to this new technology. Should you have any questions, please do not
