This November, the Southwestern Association of Toxicologists celebrates its 30 year anniversary! Founded in 1977, S.A.T. has been serving the forensic and clinical toxicology community by providing a forum to discuss current issues, primarily among chemists who work at the analytical bench. Our 30 year anniversary meeting will be held in Galveston, Texas, on November 8-10, 2007. The meeting will focus on leading the science and practice of toxicology into the next exciting thirty years. One of the principle goals of the meeting is to add 30 new members. Please spread the word about SAT to all your colleagues! Also, we want to extend a special invitation to those who were present at the organizational meeting, also held in Galveston, 30 years ago.

The Anniversary meeting of the Southwestern Association of Toxicologists will be held at the Galveston Island Hilton, one of three properties located at the San Luis Resort. Indulge in the critically acclaimed resort restaurants; bask in the sun by the tropical pool with swim-up bar and then step out into the magic and excitement of Galveston Island featuring a wide array of island activities on both land and sea, including championship golf, deep sea fishing, historic art, entertainment and shopping districts and 32 miles of sun-drenched Texas Coast beaches.

We look forward to celebrating this milestone in SAT history and encourage you to join us!
