PALM SUNDAY All children, visitors included, are invited to
participate in a palm processional at the opening of the 9 a.m.
traditional and 11:12 a.m. contemporary services on March 16. Sign
interpretation is offered at both services.
LIVING LAST SUPPER A sign interpreted service on Maundy Thursday,
March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. The Cast for Christ
Players offer dramatic portrayals of Jesus and his disciples. The
Worship Choir and Chamber Orchestra offer Ruth Elaine Schramms
Living Last Supper Cantata. Holy Communion is celebrated around
tables in the Worship Center in the manner in which Jesus disciples
received the Last Supper.
EGGSTRAVAGANZA Saturday, March 22 at First Methodist Houstons
Quillian Recreation Center
9 a.m. Breakfast with the Bunny, $3 adults, $2 children
9:30 a.m. Free activities begin
11:30 a.m. Special Easter Presentation
Noon Egg Hunt followed by Easter Bonnet and Easter Basket Contests
EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE First Methodist Houston Westchase celebrates
the risen Christ with two sign interpreted services on March 23. The
9 a.m. features a full orchestra, adult and youth choirs, youth
dramatic cast and Dr. Steve Wende preaching. The 11:12 a.m.
contemporary service features a dramatic opening to worship, the FOS
choir and Pastor Kenneth Levingston preaching.
Sign interpretation and Assisted Listening Devices are offered each
Sunday morning at First Methodist Houston Westchase. For more
