We all hope you have a great Easter this year with your family and
friends! Again, it was unbelievably weird warmer weather!
This month, we have great event ever! We host a big and first event,
Texoma Council for the Deaf Bowling Tournament. We have 44 fans and 17
bowlers! They all have blast of fun and enjoy met new face and making
new friends! We will host this again on March, 2009. They want to come
back again! Here is the list who won the tournament:
1st: 949 Points – $200.00 – Austin, TX
2nd: 894 Points – $100.00 – Houston, TX
3rd: 886 Points – $45.00 – Grand Prairie, TX
4th: 871 Points – $23.00 – Hewitt, TX
5th: 828 Points – $23.00 – Midwest City, OK
Next month, TCD host Deal or No Deal Game on April 12, 2008 at Elks
Lodge #2280. The Cash Bar will be open for anyone over 21 years old to
drink. This month, please help us and buy TCD Raffle Tickets for
TCD’s 4th Annual Deaf Picnic on June 28, 2008.
This month, we will have general meeting on CSDVRS hosted V-Meeting.
If you are interested in a V-Meeting, all you have to do is set up
V-Meeting in your Videophone (VP) under CSDVRS, or if you need help,
CSDVRS will come by to add CSDVRS on your VP and give you free new
toll free # 800’s. It will be live chat through relay by VP. If you
are interested to receive the information about V-Meeting, please

we will help you to set up the V-Meeting in your VP.
The next TCD Events in March will be 1st Annual TCD host Deaf Bowling
Tournament on March 15, 2008 at Lone Star Bowling on F.M. 1417 South.
After the Bowling Tournament, we will have social night at Elks Lodge
#2280. The Cash Bar will be open for anyone over 21 years old to
drink. This month, we will start selling TCD Raffle Tickets for
TCD’s 4th Annual Deaf Picnic on June 28, 2008.

so we can send you information including our TCD Newsletters, Events
and social night around Sherman/Denison in Texas. Or you can check out
at the Deaf Network that advertises about our TCD activities or
events. Member fee are $10 per year for Single and $15 per year for
Family and kids 17 years and under. Please send check or money order
payable to Texoma Council for the Deaf, P.O. Box 2686, Sherman, TX
75091. Or you can come to our next events to sign up to become a TCD
member.
We are looking for two volunteers to become the Board of Trustee and
one Photographer for our TCD. If anyone interested in this position,
please email Scott, the president at [email protected]
. We are looking for one of Board of Trustee and Photographer who is
willing and motivated to fill this position.
TCD is a non-profit organization with section 501 (c) (3) and we do
have fund if you wish to send money order and/or a check to us. Please
make sure to note that it is specifically for the fund on your
check/money order.
