November 10 (Tuesday)
A celebration of the arts at Daggett. Program of events include dance
demonstrations, art exhibits and games of the last 100 years. There will be
no interpreters but anyone is welcome to come if they want.
November 11 (Wednesday)
Veterans Day Celebration
Presentation of American Flag (flown over capital)
Presentation of Texas Flag from Austin (flown over capital)
Presentation of New Daggett Centennial Flag created by 5th grader Nicholas
Munoz.
Veterans Day patriotic program from music department
November 12 (Thursday)
Early evening reunion of Alumni, visitors and dignitaries
4:00-7:00
Project memorabilia and art work out for viewing. Student ambassadors will
give tours and answer questions.
November 13 (Friday)
Visitors from the Fort Worth Regional Day school for the Deaf will be coming
to the school, presenting a small program to the Daggett student body, they
will have lunch and tour the school. The students from Waverly Park, Leonard
6, Leonard Middle and Western Hills HS will also go to all classrooms to
talk to the students about their experiences and we will have presentations
around the school for them to see. The FWRDSFD started at Daggett Elementary
we believe back in the 1940s. Also Alumni from the Deaf school will be
touring the school and attending their reunion in the evening.

E.M. Daggett Elementary School
In collaboration with the Ryan Place and Fairmount neighborhoods we are
going to have a small parade and celebration on the school grounds. The
Alumni from the school for the Deaf will be touring the building and
conducting their reunion.
November 13 (Friday)
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Daggett Elementary School
The Deaf students from Waverly Park, Leonard 6, Leonard Middle and Western
Hills High School will also go to all classrooms to talk to the students
about their experiences and we will have presentations around the school for
them to see. Buses from other schools will arrive at 10:30 AM and will leave
at 1:30 PM.

Traditional refried beans and Mexican rice
Our own original chips and salsa
Pico de gallo, salsa and jalapeno peppers
Lemonade and iced tea, with accompaniments
Our homemade pecan pralines
Adult: $12.00 per plate
Children (12 and under): $8.00 per plate
Attention to Alumni & Friends:
If you want to eat lunch at Daggett Elementary School (cafeteria) at noon on
Saturday, please send a check or money order (no cash please) to FWRDSDAA,
P.O. Box 1902, Euless, TX 76039. Make check or money order payable to
FWRDSDAA.
DEADLINE: November 4, 2009 (There will be no lunch tickets at the door so
please pay before November 4th!)
Also, please write (print) down your name. If you pay more than one, please
print their names, too!
NOTE: There will be no lunch after 1 PM so be there before NOON to stay in
line for lunch. Lunch will be served from Noon till 1 PM only!
Any returned check will be charged an extra $25.00.

second page.
