Texas Flu – ASL Video

Hello,

My name is John Villarreal and I work for DSHS Communications Unit.  I handle Spanish-language media and am responsible for reaching Texas vulnerable populations in terms of preparedness.

I partnered with DARS and have been working with Ann Horne, Amy Benner, Randi Turner and Angela Feltner to produce as many of our flu materials as possible in ASL.  They have been wonderful to work with and have done great work.  Thanks to them, Vlogs are now available on our Web site at TexasFlu.org and can be seen on Youtube.

This is just a friendly FYI to let the deaf community know that flu-related information is available via our Web site at Texasflu.org.  If you feel the ASL Vlogs might be helpful to people in your community, please feel free to share it with them.
