Texas Statewide Youth Leadership Forum
Howdy,
Each summer the Texas YLF provides free leadership training and experiences
to 30 youth with disabilities. These delegates are selected from high school
juniors and seniors with disabilities from all over the state of Texas. YLF
delegates are empowered to advocate for individuals with disabilities and
influence public policy. Selected youth spend one week, July 26-30 2010, in
Austin, staying on St. Edwards University campus, and receive training
through presentations, activities, and a mock testimony at the Capitol
building.
Please refer interested persons to our website, txylf.tamu.edu, to apply.
The deadline is approaching fast, April 15, 2010 so please hurry!

Sorry for the late notice, but the Texas YLF will be accepting applications
for delegates (youth) until Wednesday. There is also an opportunity to be a
mentor.
Thank you,
Eric Roberts
