Practicum students Angela Moody and Rachel Renfro on Tuesday January 11,

CAMELOT is the legendary story of King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot, The
Knights of the Round Table, Mordred, and Merlyn. It is a tale with
enchantments, knights, fate, fair maidens, passion, betrayal, romance,
redemption, hope, forgiveness, idealism, and higher purpose. Some of the
enchanting musical numbers by Lerner and Loewe include The Simple Joys of
Maidenhood, The Lusty Month of May, How Handle a Woman, I Loved You Once in
Silence, If Ever I would Leave You, and What Do the Simple Folk Do?. In the
end it is twelve-year-old Tom of Warwick who tells the world of Camelot’s
quest for right and honor and justice.

Hurst, Texas, December 12, 2010 – Artisan Center Theater proudly presents
CAMELOT at its 150 seat theater-in-the-round. The theater is located in the
old historic Belaire Plaza at 420 East Pipeline Road. The daytime box office
is located at 418 East Pipeline Road. The show runs Saturday January 1
through Saturday January 29, 2011. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3 pm matinees on Saturdays 1/8,
1/15, 1/22, 1/29/2011. Reserved seating tickets are $16.00 for adults,
$14.00 for students and seniors, and $9.00 for children 12 and under. Monday
through Thursday tickets are $12.00. The box office number is 817-284-1200.

NEW YEAR’S EVE – A “KNIGHT” TO REMEMBER
Artisan throwing a special New Year’s Eve Party. It will starting at 7:30pm
December 31, 2010. There will be good food, socializing, music, dancing, a
special presentation of CAMELOT, a costume prize for the best medieval
costume, and a countdown to the new year. The theme will be “A Knight to
Remember”. Cost will be $30.00 per person. Early reservations recommended.

The Director:
Dennis Canright has been an active participant both on stage and off at
Artisan for the last four seasons. Audiences may remember Dennis on stage in
SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, THE ARK, THE MUSIC MAN, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS.
Dennis has also directed OKLAHOMA, CINDERELLA, WEST SIDE STORY, and most
recently TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD for Artisan. A jack of all trades and master
of none, Dennis splits his time between Artisan Center Theater and his day
job as Master Carpenter for Uptown Players in Dallas, and is also official
Set Designer for The Column Awards. A multiple Column Award nominee and
winner, Dennis was honored with four nominations this past year, two for his
direction and scenic design (with Jason Leyva) for WEST SIDE STORY, at
Artisan, the latter of which he and Jason won!
