On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Fort Worth Police

The purpose of the Citizens Police Academy is to give citizens an
opportunity to learn about the various areas of the Fort Worth Police

community members. Crime Prevention, Homicide, Traffic, Gangs, SWAT, K-9,
Special Victims, Forensics, Narcotics, Vice are examples of areas to be
covered, including a hands on demonstration at the shooting range.

A graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, for all
participants who complete the 12-week program. Family and friends are
invited. Citizens Police Academy Graduates are give opportunities to
participate in various Fort Worth Police Department activities, including
