A Dream for St. Vincent’s Choir and Dance Ensemble
After the earthquake in Haiti, St. Vincent’s has worked very hard to bring things back to normal for the students of St. Vincent’s. But it has been a long road to recovery for the deaf, blind and disabled children and staff.
A choir has come together at St. Vincent’s made up of deaf and hearing, teachers and students. They have a dream of providing support for the new school that is to be constructed, food that is needed daily for the children and staff, teachers, training, school supplies, wheel chairs, braces, medication, the list is endless.
The St. Vincent’s Choir & Dance Ensemble hope to raise the funds to bring the choir to the states to perform in concerts to raise funds needed for St. Vincent’s. Our goal is to bring 10 members of the 25 member choir and dance ensemble to the states to raise the funds that are needed at St. Vincent’s.
All concert performance will be dedicated to the memory of seven children and one teacher who perished at St. Vincent’s during the earthquake. The choir will perform in sign language and provide music that promises foot stomping, invigorating, inspirational and uplifting performances.
The $15,000 needed will cover airfare, passport fees, accommodations, costumes, food and local transportation in the States.
