Waco: Middle School Hosts Hearing-Impaired Students

WACO (May 20, 2014) Hearing-impaired students from Alta Vista Elementary School spent part of their day as guests of Midway Middle School students.
The visit was part of a collaboration between Midway Middle School’s American Sign Language Club and Alta Vista’s deaf education program.
The middle school students were waiting outside to greet the visitors Tuesday morning.
The student-directed event included skits performed in sign language, craft stations and game stations.
The Alta Vista students also ate lunch with their hosts.
