Job Opportunity: Counselor for Deafness or Hearing Loss – San Antonio
The San Antonio North Field Office has posted a counselor position that will be responsible for serving a specialty caseload in working with consumers who experience Deafness or Hearing Loss.
We are looking for applicants who meet the following:
* holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, or closely related field
* possess the necessary knowledge of the Deaf and Hearing Loss Culture (strongly preferred)
* have an established work history in working with the Deaf & Hearing Loss population (strongly preferred)
* are Proficient in American Sign Language (required)
* have previous Vocational Rehabilitation experience (strongly preferred)
* can demonstrate exceptional teaching skills
* have project management experience (ideal)
* are ready to work in a positive, team focused atmosphere; AND
* are firm believers in providing Exceptional Customer Service to all individuals
