It is with delight and surprise that the Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. (HBCD) had received from the recent dissolved Southeast Texas Association of the Deaf (SETAD) organization in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00). “SETAD has been an outstanding organization and a great contributor. They annually contributed toward our Jr. Anglers Tournament, which HBCD hosted annually. It hearten to see SETAD being dissolved for they have such a valid reason for it but not to see SETAD on our list of contributors will surely be our missing link as one of several outstanding contributors” stated President Northcutt.

Academy, Davis Chevrolet, CAAGVrs, Accessible Signs, several organizations and more listings have contributed as well. “It is all about the kids” added President Northcutt. “With these monies, it goes toward them and to make their lives enjoyable by having fun along with their parents and learning the nature all about how to reel in a fish and weight it in order to win awards and prizes. Beside the awards and prizes, they all go home with several items as well” said Northcutt. On behalf of the Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. and its members, we wanted to truly thank SETAD from the bottom of our heart for their generous contribution.

Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded in 1968 to promote education, social and sportsmanship to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Bass Anglers through local, state and national level of Bass Tournaments.
