UPDATED: SWSAD Softball Tournament 2015

Dallas Association of the Deaf (DAD) will host the 48th Men’s and 41st Women’s Annual Regional Slo-Pitch Softball Tournament under the banner of Southwest Softball Association of the Deaf (SWSAD). SWSAD has created new Mixed Teams this year, which is called COED.

The softball games will be at the Kiest Park and Recreation, one of the finest facilities in town, on July 9, 10, 11, 2015 (next week). The location is 2200 W. Kiest Blvd. in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas 75398.

Overall from different towns and states are 22 teams to compete in the softball tournament. There are 9 men teams, 3 women teams, and 10 COED teams entered the tournament, on both Friday and Saturday.

SPECIAL NOTICE: at the gate, the combo price has been reduced to $40.00, saving you $10.00.

Registration fees for the whole weekend games are:

Fans: $40.00
Senior Citizens: $25.00 (55 years old and up)
Youths (age 13-17): $20.00
Children (age under 12 years old: Free

Everyone, please come out to the tournament and support SWSAD. SWSAD needs your continued support to keep our deaf and hard-of-hearing athletic teams going strong.

DAD and SWSAD encourage you all to attend the tournament to root for your favorite team. SWSAD has proven their organization holds outstanding sporting events for deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes. These events are so important to the youth in our community, in developing and continuing their sporting and competitive spirit.
