North Texas Performing Arts Event for Deaf and Interpreting Communities

NORTH TEXAS PERFORMING ARTS (NTPA) DAY OF EVENTS WITH DEAF THEATRE WORK SATURDAY, JULY 30, 2022

1:00-4:00 pm Workshop (State & National CEUs pending) “Deaf People in the Performing Arts & Interpreting for Theatre” For: Deaf community & Interpreters/training to be interpreters Costs: $35 with CEUS, $25 with no CEUS

Limited Seating. Must register with NTPA and receive confirmation of placement for attending.

4:30-6:30 pm A reception (light snacks, wine, champagne and beverages) for workshop attendees and Deaf/hard of hearing

6:30-10:00 pm First rehearsal with previously auditioned Deaf actors and interpreters (will be shadow interpreters). For: Deaf/hard of hearing actors and shadows already cast for a Fall 2022 Deaf Play Production of “The Play That Goes Wrong”.
