Camp Sign 2026 with Families!

We’re excited to announce Camp Sign 2026, a collaboration between the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) and Camp CAMP (Children’s Association for Maximum Potential). Camp SIGN will be held from July 12–17, 2026.

What is Camp Sign?
Camp Sign is a unique, barrier-free environment designed specifically for youth who are deaf or hard of hearing, regardless of their primary communication mode. The camp provides a supportive space for growth and acceptance, featuring an outdoor skills program that empowers campers to develop new abilities and form lasting friendships.

Who can attend?
Youth ages 8–17 who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Camp CAMP, located in the Texas Hill Country, offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, including canoeing along the Guadalupe River. The 55-acre property includes an aquatic center, dining hall, healthcare center, arts & crafts center, and more.

Cost:

  • Camp Sign Attendance Fee: No cost (provided by DHHS)
  • Camp Administrative Fee: Pay-What-You-Can ($300 / $200 / $100)
