Intermediate ASL: Religious Settings – Houston

Intermediate ASL – Religious Settings

Houston,Texas

For an individual to just simply attempt to share the Word of God can be
difficult. Religious Interpreting, particularly in a traditional setting,
is difficult to the Deaf’s listening eyes when the message is personal and
symbolic in nature. When delivering a this type of message , the
importance of the message musically is vital. This workshop, continuing
weekly through December, will comprehensively address these issues while
having fun conceptually interpreting stories, poems, and yes… MUSIC!!!!
This class will be structured to accommodate oral deaf, late deafened and
hard of hearing, as well as, the hearing student and interpreter. The cost
of this series is $40 and includes text and resources.
