AMAHL and the NIGHT VISITORS

Earthen Vessels, The Sandra Organ Dance Company is pleased to present “AMAHL
AND THE NIGHT VISITORS” a ballet choreographed by James Sewell of
Minneapolis that incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) into the telling
of this poignant holiday tale. It will be showing at Zilkha Hall in the

at 2:30 and 7:30 pm. This show is a great group outing and family friendly
event that honors the Christmas season….and it’s only an hour long!

The storyline is that of a widow and her disabled child, who are visited by
three wise men. It’s a heartwarming opera that was made for television in
the 1950’s—a wonderful introduction, . “AMAHL” is absolutely accessible to
deaf community, with a special ticket rate ($10) great for groups of all
generations. There will be an interpreter present to facilitate ticketing
and announcements before the show, as well as discussion with performers
after the show. Another highlight involves educating and teaching the basics
of the ASL alphabet to the hearing audience as well.

community, seniors and students is only $10 per attendee.
