Lone Star College System is currently seeking applicants for a Part-Time
Interpreter (Level II – V). This part-time position is located at the

Commensurate with qualifications.
Acts as a professional interpreter for students, faculty, staff and
administration that are Deaf/Hard of Hearing for the Lone Star College
System in order to maintain institutional compliance with Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA). Strives to advance in sign language skill proficiency in order to
provide the highest level of professional interpreter services possible.
Supports and promotes all students’ and faculty’s right to equity in the
High school diploma or equivalent. One or more of the following
professional interpreter certifications: Department of Rehabilitative
Services: BEI-Level II or higher OR Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
(RID): CSC,CI, CT, or NIC or higher.
