Fort Worth Police Department – More Time Given to Receive CPA Applications!

If you would still like to attend the Fort Worth Citizens Police Academy
(CPA) for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, bring your completed and notarized
application with you to the second class on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. More
time is given to receive applications, because the next CPA for the Deaf and
Hard of Hearing will take place next year, since each CPA is offered
annually. So, if you don’t want to wait to take the course a year from now,
bring your application with you and join us on October 11, 2011.

Complete it and have it notarized. Then bring your applications with you

Class will begin at 6:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM.

Questions have been received about teen participation. If you are 16-18
years of age, you can attend the course with written permission from your
parents or guardian. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate

The Fort Worth Police and Fire Training Academy is wheelchair accessible.
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this training and who may need
accommodations, auxiliary aids, or services such as interpreters, readers,

to the training so that appropriate arrangements can be made. If the City
does not receive notification at least 48 hours prior to the training, the
City will make a reasonable attempt to provide the necessary accommodations.
