Understanding the structure of ASL is a tool every interpreter, teacher and student must have in their bag of tricks. Many interpreters and teachers use sign language, but they don’t know where to find nouns, verbs, adjectives or adverbs in ASL. How does ASL Syntax works? What’s the difference between numbers and numerical incorporation?

In ASL Deconstructed you will be studying: phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics and semantics in ASL. When ASL is deconstructed, it allows us to understand what is “inside.”
