SUPPORT TEXAS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF’S STUDENTS WITH ADDITIONAL DISABILITIES

Austin, Texas – April 26, 2014 Tonight, at Joe’s Crab Shack – 600 East Riverside Drive, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm – is the 6th Annual SND Rocks live music benefit for Texas School for the Deaf’s (TSD) students with special needs.

Tonight’s lineup, features: The Dave Blake Trio, The Best Bang, Shine and FatCracker. With NO COVER and all ages welcome.

Joe’s Crab Shack will be donate a portion of sales to the cause for presenting a SND Rocks flyer to your server. To RSVP and print your flyer, in color or black and white, visit: www.facebook.com/events/SNDRocks.

A musician himself, and the event’s organizer – TSD’s Special Needs (SND) Assistant Principal, Robert Solis – invites everyone to out to enjoy great music in support of a very worthy cause.
“This event support our ‘fighters and survivors’ – our students with special needs at TSD – and is a really special event to me,” says Solis. “Several of the musicians here have participated with us each year and have connections of their own to the school. We are grateful to everyone that helps us make this a successful event year after year.
“We’re all friends, Solis adds, and friends of friends, who enjoy playing together and being part of this great cause to give these special students increased support and a bright future.”

Event proceeds will provide critical tools for students and classroom equipment needed for TSD’s deaf and hard of hearing students who need additional, specialized instruction and support.

WHAT: 6th Annual SND Rocks

Live music and silent auction benefit for the Texas School for the Deaf’s (TSD) Special Needs Department (SND), with The Dave Blake Trio, The Best Bang, Shine and FatCracker.
