A teenage food service worker alleges in a request for a restraining order she has been pursued by a man using a fake name who pleaded guilty more than a decade ago to choking and kidnapping a woman in downtown Santa Fe.
The young woman seeking the restraining order, who turned 18 last month, wrote in a complaint filed Friday in state District Court she had a couple of brief encounters with Ryan Catron, 34, of Santa Fe, and then he sent her a series of text messages that left her fearing for her safety. “Reflecting on this experience his [behaviors] were extremely predatory,” she wrote.
A judge issued a temporary restraining order against Catron and set a hearing later this month.
